DOCKING, SYNTHESIS AND BIOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF A LINEAR TETRAPEPTIDE L-GLFP

A linear tetrapeptide L-Gly-Leu-Phe-Pro (L-GLFP), the sequence of which has been derived from the natural anticancer
cycloheptapeptide Wainunuamide. The tetrapeptide has been synthesized by solution phase technique using TBTU/Et3N in chloroform
and was characterized by spectral analysis. Molecular docking using HEX software resulted in a good score for cancer receptor 2IOI.
The synthesized compound was subjected to antioxidant, anticancer, antitubercular and antimicrobial activities. The compound
showed significant antioxidant and anticancer activities, good antitubercular and poor antimicrobial activities.
